Next to the cabin on a small hill is the cabin's annex. Via the annex's small glazed veranda you reach the entrance. On Sotenäset and in the surrounding area, there are several fishing and stonecutter communities with additional bathing areas as well as coastal paths and roads with a view of the Bohuslän archipelago. Kungshamn and adjacent Smögen also offer the opportunity to rent a kayak or boat so you can explore the beautiful archipelago on your own. If you want to take a look under the surface of the sea, there are diving experience opportunities both from land and boat. From Kungshamn you can take a taxi boat and visit the Hållö lighthouse or to Smögen and continue to experience archipelago life and the archipelago environment at the now world-famous jetty with bustling folk life, shops, restaurants and a variety of different boats.
