Hier liegt ein SZ mit 1B. Über eine geschwungene Treppe gelangt man hinauf in die obere Etage mit 2 weiteren Zimmern: Ein SZ mit 2 Betten und Kachelofen sowie ein großer, kombinierter Aufenthalts-/Schlafbereich mit großer Sitzgarnitur, Kachelofen und 2 in der Höhe verstellbaren Betten in je einer Ecke des Raumes. Von der Diele oben hat man Zugang zum großen Balkon davor, der sich z.B. zum Sonnenbaden anbietet. Die Mahlzeiten des Tages nimmt man jedoch besser unten auf der Holzveranda mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Kugelgrill ein. Das Haus wurde erst vor wenigen Jahren komplett saniert und bietet ein angenehmes Wohnambiente. Zur Ausstattung gehören auch Fußbodenheizung in mehreren Zimmern und schneller Internetanschluss über Glasfaser. Bitte beachten: Etwas niedrigere Raumhöhe als gewohnt, wie zur damaligen Bauzeit (1920) üblich. Nebenan auf dem privaten Gehöft Mulestad gibt es ein Pony, Schafe und Katzen sowie ein Paddock mitten auf dem Hof. Vor dem Ferienhaus findet man große Rasenflächen für Spiel und Spaß im Freien, ein Paradies für Kinder. Das zugehörige Ruderboot liegt etwa 4,5 km weiter am Seeufer des Trehörningen bereit. Dort kann auch ohne Angelschein nach Hecht oder Barsch geangelt werden. Entdecken Sie die reiche Fauna der umliegenden, tiefen Wälder, in denen man zur richtigen Jahreszeit auch Beeren und Pilze suchen kann. Der nächste Ort Odensvi liegt 6 km weiter und bietet Einkaufsladen, kleines Café und schönen, öffentlichen Badestrand mit seichter Strandlinie, Stegen, Badeleiter, Spielgeräten und Rasenflächen zum Sonnenbaden. Zum kleinen, hübschen Küstenstädtchen Gamleby am Meer sind es 22 km, dort findet man EKZ, mehrere Gaststätten und Cafés. Als Ziel für einen Tagesausflug bietet sich auch die malerische Stadt Västervik oder das beliebte Ausflugsziel Astrid Lindgrens Värld in Vimmerby (ca. 45 Autominuten) an.

Für Familien mit Kindern sind die Ausflugsziele Kolmårdens Djurpark (etwa 90 Min. Fahrzeit) oder Astrid Lindgrens Värld in Vimmerby (ca. 1 Autostunde) erreichbar. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests, and here in winter there is an area for cross-country skiing. For those who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage Grimeton. Also visit the large shopping area GEKÅS in Ullared. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses nearby, the closest is Klosterfjordens Gk.
